On the 16th of September for the geography teachers and students of the Olympic reserve in the framework of QazaqGeography informative - educational program
was held a lecture on the topic «Using and drafting topographic and thematic maps for geographical research». It is noteworthy, that for the participants, in addition to
the lecture itself, there were given practical classes to consolidate the material.
The lecturer was a candidate of geographical sciences, associate professor of the cartography and geinformatics department of the geographical faculty of Moscow State
University named after Lomonosov, member of the All-Russian public organization of the Russian Geographical Society, author of a number of textbooks, such as “Cartography for Young Geographers”, “Landscape Planning with Elements of Engineering Biology”, “Geographic Mapping: General Geographic Maps” Natalya Alekseenko.
