The opening of the exhibition of the applied art «Geography – a line of cultural perspective» took place on September 14th in the National Museum. The exposition
includes exhibits of the ArlanDesign art gallery, felt and tapestry works of regional masters of Kazakhstan, as well as teachers and students of Kazakhstan National University of Arts
(KAZNUI). The goal of QazaqGeography and National museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan joint exhibition is to present new creative searches in the technique of felt products. Our
aim is to save and support the pedagogical potential of masters in the aesthetic education of youth. The headliners of the exhibition are the works of four Ankauov brothers - the
founders of the «ArlanDesign» gallery. All four are sick with Duchenne Erba-Rota myopathy since childhood, a rare disease that causes damage to the musculoskeletal system.
The Ankauov brothers are a vivid example of fortitude and an unwavering desire to live, love and create. They are the founders of a unique (received a patent for an invention)
application technique of sheep wool. This technology has no analogues in the world. The exhibition will run until September 30.
